Electric Gardens

Electric Gardens is a new construction, mixed-use development on two acres in Tremont that offers modern living and commercial space on a scenic, elevated overlook. The vacant land, formerly owned by CSX, features stunning views of the Cleveland skyline and direct access to the adjacent Towpath Trail.

The project included 130 apartment units and 8,100 SF of commercial space, including the second location of Limelight, a coworking space. On warm, sunny days, that flexible office space spills out onto one of two rooftop decks.

Electric Gardens, clad in blackened steel and matte aluminum, strikes a bold presence along the Towpath Trail, in a quiet patch where the historic neighborhood slopes down toward the industrial valley.

Neighborhood Revitalization

The project continues the revitalization of the Tremont neighborhood by remediating contaminated soil and redeveloping vacant land vacated by a terminated rail line. It supports the public welfare by connecting the neighborhood to the Towpath Trail as identified in the Connecting Cleveland 2020 Citywide plan and is supported by Tremont West Development Corporation.

Executed Community Benefits Agreement

The project sponsor has committed to quantifiable community impacts by executing a Community Benefits Agreement.
