Children’s Museum of Cleveland

The Children’s Museum of Cleveland (CMC) is Northeast Ohio’s only museum exclusively dedicated to children ages birth to 8.  CMC has acquired and is renovating the Stager Beckwith mansion, one of the last remaining mansions of Cleveland’s historic Millionaire’s Row, for its new location.  CMC will provide an early childhood education and cultural experience to over 100,000 children and their families annually.

    CMC will provide an early childhood education and cultural experience to over 100,000 children and their families annually. CMC works with its partners including The Centers for Families and Children, Cleveland State University, Help Me Grow of Cuyahoga County, and Cuyahoga County Division of Children and Family Services to provide programs targeted at low income children.

  • Diversity and Inclusion

    The project sponsor committed to construction participation goals for Minority, Female, and Cleveland Small Businesses (MBE/FBE/CSB) as well as minority, female and City of Cleveland resident workers.

  • Environmentally Sustainable Outcomes

    The historic renovation received LEED EB+OM v41 Platinum Certification in October 2019.

  • Executed Community Benefits Agreement

    The project sponsor has committed to quantifiable community impacts by executing a Community Benefits Agreement.
