Nasa Glenn Research Center Redevelopment
The NASA Glenn Research Center Redevelopment transformed the historic Development Engineering Building and Annex at the NASA Lewis Research Center in Fairview Park. These buildings, integral to the 1960s and 1970s space program and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, had been dormant since 2009. Their revival has revitalized this iconic site.
The ‘K’ Building, now The Centaur, spans 165,798 square feet and features 92 Class A/B apartment units. It also hosts a brewery and event/conference center leased to third-party operators. Tenant amenities include an outdoor pool, community club room, movie/media room, and fitness center.
The ‘L’ Building, now the Orbit Hotel, covers 43,264 square feet and offers a 59-room Trademark Collection by Wyndham select-service hotel. Amenities include a breakfast room doubling as a bistro and bar, a shared outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, sundries shop, and a small meeting room.
