The Greater Cleveland Food Bank will construct a new 197,000 SF warehouse and distribution center to provide greater capacity to store and distribute non-perishable food to partner agencies.  Additional capacity at the new facility will include an expanded production kitchen, larger freezer, cooler, cold vestibule, and mobile pantry staging space, new and increased equipment, and appropriate work space for volunteers and staff.

    Additional cold storage space would give GCFB the capacity to increase its total distribution of food from 45.66 million pounds in 2018 to 59.64 million pounds in 2029 and reach more clients in need. It is expected that this project will enable GCFB to serve an additional 100,000 clients per year and increase daily healthy means from 4,000 to 8,000 capacity.
