As Vice President, Business Growth and Development, manages an equitable real estate development initiative to help emerging and minority commercial real estate development companies scale operations. Prior to joining CDA, Ed worked for CDA’s affiliate, Greater Cleveland Partnership serving as a liaison to provide state resources for major economic development projects in Northeast Ohio. Ed leverages his experience in urban planning, commercial real estate finance, and small business to help communities thrive and drive business growth.
Prior to joining GCP, Ed served as a commercial real estate underwriter at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Chicago, IL. There he was responsible for a $1 billion portfolio backed by real estate private equity firms, REITS, and national development companies.
Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Urban Planning and Development from Cleveland State University. He also holds an MBA from The Ohio State University. Ed has completed formal New Markets Tax Credit training with REAP and completed a formal commercial credit training program through KeyBank Real Estate Capital’s rotational analyst program.
