CDA provided a capital campaign bridge loan to Providence House to assist in the two phase adaptive reuse of the Weizer Building in the Buckeye neighborhood. The space will serve as administrative facilities and an east side campus that will help the non-profit social service agency double its capacity for emergency shelter and crisis care for families.

    The project is strategic by supporting the community through the addition of crisis and trauma care for children and families. It is supported by Ward 6 Councilman Blaine Griffin as well as Burten, Bell, Carr Development, the CDC currently serving the Buckeye neighborhood. The project will also rehabilitate the vacant Weizer building, a priority for the neighborhood.
